Then you might have a spyware application running.
Take a moment and do the following to make sure you don’t have any spyware. If you have the app, don’t worry, just delete it.
1. Hover over your SETTINGS tab until it opens the pull down menu.
2. Select APPLICATION SETTINGS.
3. Open the SHOW pull down menu and select ADDED TO PROFILE.
4. Look for an application called “UN-NAMED APP” and click on the x to the right to delete it.
I didn’t have this application on my account, but I know quite a few friends and clients that did. More than likely, it came from a game or other application that was downloaded as a trojan. Once I know more, I’ll post an update.
UPDATE: According to All Facebook “Facebook however is saying that the issue has since been fixed. Unfortunately Facebook is not providing any other details but based on what users have been telling us, removing the application resulted in your boxes tab being removed from Facebook.” They go on to assure that it wasn’t dangerous so much as odd and not something you should be too concerned with.
