If you’re anything like me, working from home often leads to getting off track. Some people (ahem, dad!) seem to think that because you work from home, you can talk on the phone. Then there’s that sink full of dishes that calls to you from across the hall. And what about all those errands you could run during the week to avoid the weekend crowds?
Let’s face it, there can be so many temptations and distractions. You know…bring shiny objects.
I say it’s time that we hold ourselves accountable. Map out your day, hour by hour. Create a list of things to do (let’s be realistic and keep it to no more than 5 tasks as we want to be successful here). Take note of those things you think you should be focusing on but just don’t want to do.
Need a little help keeping track? I’ve created a simple one page sheet that can help you stay focused throughout your day.
