Did you ever wonder how that whole Creative Commons thing works?
I get many of my photos for this blog (and my other blogs) by searching in Flickr for Creative Commons licenses. Now they’ve made it even easier through their Search by Creative Commons site. Now you check Google, Yahoo, Flickr, Blip.tv, Owl and SpinXpress for supplimental and free content for your blog. How cool is that?
Even better still, they have a search button built into the Firefox browser (I just not learned about this which is funny since I’m up there using the Yelp search button all the time).
For how to make the most out of the Creative Commons experience, check out the video below.
Creative Commons is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to making it easier for people to share and build upon the work of others, consistent with the rules of copyright.
We provide free licenses and other legal tools to mark creative work with the freedom the creator wants it to carry, so others can share, remix, use commercially, or any combination thereof.
