This week, March 9 – 13 is Make a Referral Week. What a great opportunity to spread the word about other how great other small businesses are.
Make a Referral Week is an entrepreneurial approach to stimulating the small business economy one referred business at a time. The goal for the week is to generate 1000 referred leads to 1000 deserving small businesses in an effort to highlight the impact of a simple action that could blossom into millions of dollars in new business. Small business is the lifeblood and job-creating engine of the economy and merits the positive attention so often saved for corporate bailout stories.
I’ll admit, I’m a little late getting this posted, but as far as I’m concerned, it’s never too late to share a little link love!
I recommend the following gals:
Tracy Ugai (LinkedIn | Facebook) – she is the graphic designer that created my logo. She was easy to talk to and really seemed to get the vibe I was going for.
Rachael Cahours Acklin – she designed most of this blogsite that you’re currently poking around it. She did quick quality work (though she might not be so quick at the moment as there’s a new little one) and again, super easy to work with.
Jenny Yerrick Martin – If you need to get your resume tweaked or get that bio written, then Jenny is your gal.
KLEAN Bath & Body – Jennifer is my go to gal when I want some pretty smelling soaps, lotions and potions. She has some amazing scrubs! She’ll also be giving away $50 worth of her yummy products on ConstantChatter later this month.
Amy’s Culinary Adventures – If you’re in the LA area and want some awesome food, then Amy is your gal. She can do it all from catering both small and large events as well as preparing a week’s worth of dinners for you. She recently served up her coconut panna cotta and it was awesomely delicious. Really, it’s good stuff.
Itty Biz -I know, I know. I’m always raving about Naomi over at Itty Biz. What can I say, when you’re good. And when you add in friendly and helpful and sassy, well how can you not recommend them (I did mention my bloggie girl crush the other day, right?). But honestly, she is THE go to person for small business marketing help. And well, we all know how much I love and recommend her SEO School ebook.
I know there are many more friends and peers that I could recommend, but right now, I’m plumb dried up. I’ll add more as I think of them. And please, don’t forget to make your small business referrals!
